Hardware Profiles?

I’ve got a user with laptop who needs to be able to use it at 2 different locations. She as a docking station at each location. The problem is that the networks at each are totally different. For instance, one has automatic addressing, and one uses static. One has a direct connection to the internet, whereas the other uses a proxy server. It wont be long till im tired of running over to wherever she is and reconfiguring her laptop. BTW, she’s not literate enough to do this on her own.

She is running Windows ME. I thought the key would be to set up different hardware profiles named for each location and have her choose from a bootup menu which location she was at. Is this possible in ME? Or can I solve this some other way? Thanks
