I’m a newbie, actually a brand new one. However, I do have an ambition of realizing one of my business idea(something like Craigslist plus blog or message board, etc) by building a database driven website.
I started by reseaching the tools I need. It looks the LAMP sounds a good solution as I have limited budget. I’d like to get your idea on what hardware I need considering the short-term development work and long-term scalability.
So far I’m thinking a desktop with Linux but not sure if there’ll be any pitfall down the road.
I appreciate any insight.
