The Powervault 650f is a drive array sold by Dell. It uses an interface called Fibre channel that connects it to an adapter on a server. When trying to reassign drive letters to the two volumes managed by the array (using windows NT disk manager) some kind of error occured that froze up the server. when it rebooted, the volumes where no longer alvailable. Using the setup utility, the cards show that a device is attached, but no LUN is assigned or shows any drives. The card is an Qlogic 2200 Fibre channel adapter. Does any one have any similar experience?
