Has anyone tested upside-down-ternet?

By TobiF ·
In a Swedish forum, someone pointed to instructions about how to cheerfully play a prank with uninvited guests to your wifi network.

Has anyone here tried these things?

Yeah, you're right. It's not only Thanksgiving time in the U.S. but also weekend here in Dubai. :)

except for turning or blurring pictures, or redirecting http requests to kitten wars?

Hmm. Any request for *.jpg or *.gif could be redirected to a black 1 pix picture.

Oh, I know, pull text (except tags) through ROT13 :)

Own Preferred Web Site to direct them to.

Now how about a site like How to Cook that thieving ******* who is stealing my Internet for the most tasty meal possible?

Or how about the Cannibal Cook Book?

Any of those hits look interesting and should make the thieves think twice before trying again. :^0

Actually I'm now thinking about pulling out my WiFi Access Point and plugging it in. Pity I really don't have the time to waste playing around. :_|

Pointless

by TobiF In reply to how about a redirect to

Unless the intruder has some interesting web server on his own computer, this won't give much. (It would simply be easier to encrypt the network and not let him in).

- the redirect back to their own system 127.0.0.1
