Have an issue getting an application to start in a Terminal Service Session

I am currently working an issue where an application, that is installed on a Windows 2003 Server SP2 64-bit, will not run in a Terminal Session (RDP). We can start the application from the actual server but in an RDP terminal session, we are unable to get the application to run at all. You can double click the app and you see a quick hourglass and then nothing. Looking at Task Manager, we never see the application actually open.

The account we are logging into the session with has full admin access. We disabled DEP to see if that was the issue….it was not. We have attempted to re-install the software with no difference. I am at wits end at the moment as to what could be causing the issue.

We also disabled Symatec Endpoint Protection in case that was somehow blocking it. That had no effect on the situation either.
