How do I learn the ip address of a network host if I know the MAC address? I want to map my existing LAN using some kind of reverse lookup. My managed hubs tell me the MAC address connected to them. How do I find out what the host IP address is without unplugging the wire to see who (or what) suddenly lost connectivity?
