Ok..here is the situation. I have a PC that shipped w/VISTA Home Premium. I have a second hard drive where I wish to install XP Pro 64 edition. The new drive has been formatted and should be ready for the new OS right? Nope..not the case here. I disconnect the power and cable to the VISTA drive, hook up the new drive boot from the Pro CD and the system tells me there is no hard drive detected!! Went into the BIOS and found that indeed it was detected. What am I doing wrong? Is it a SATA driver issue? If so how do you setup new drivers when you have no floppy attached? I want to dual boot and know you can do it but have I bitten off more than I can chew here? Help me..PLEASE!!
