Having problems installing windows2000

By starwars1975 ·
Hello I am having problems installing Windows2000 Professional. I can get to the point of install where Windows is about to save the settings, and sets up start and menu programs. But as soon as it gets to "Deleting temporary files" I get a blue screen saying memory stack dump complete. Please notify administrator. I then have to reboot the computer and redo the install again. I have not been able to install Windows 2000 yet. I did the upgrade from Win98 to hopefully have Windows 2000 Pro on mycomputer but no such luck. Hope you all can help. If you need any more information please let me know. Thanks ~Scott~

What size is your hard drive? If it's at least 10G, set a boot partition of no more than 4G, install 2K on the partition. I ran into this same issue on a Dell PC rollout project I completed last summer. When creating the image, I noticed the Stop Error and memory dump you are referrnig to. I then did just as I described above and it worked flawlessly.
