I first started installing Windows XP Home on a P4 system and It will copy the install files to the hard drive then restart. After that the system will boot back to the cd-rom. When I cancel the boot to cd-rom I get an invalid system disk error. This has happen to different hard drive before it so I figure that its not exactly the hard drive. and I’m looking for any suggestions on how I can further trouble shoot to figure out why I can’t get into the actual installation of windows. I checked the hard drive with the recovery console and I saw that there is a windows directory after the restart. I’m just too tired to try to figure this out right now. So please any suggestions on what i can do…
