I had my HD crash, blue screen of death flash and restart loop. Anyway, I got another hard drive(not sata) and installed it as the master, used my XP OS cd that came with the computer and put my old HD as the slave.
I can access the slave, but not all the files are there, for instance stuff that was on my desktop, or other files. I need some of the software off it as well. I don’t know if for some reason I don’t have access to all of it or it just isn’t showing up. What should I do to retrieve all my data?
