I had a motherboard to fry on my laptop and was wondering if there was a way to transfer files from the Hard drive to a desktop hard drive. XP pro OS on the laptop HD and XP home on the desktop. Since the laptop is inop I figured normal tranfer is out of the window. Since it has an existing OS I don’t think I could place 2.5 hd in case and transfer via USB 2.0 . Any ideas???
