1. I am looking for a Utility Program (Shareware, Fee or Free) that will recover my HDD partition and files (9/24/07).
2. Two months ago, a virus and spyware currpted my desktop computer system files. The virus and spyware was removed but System Restore recovered it. The virus and spyware was removed.
3. I backed up my hard drive files to my external Storage Sync backup drive and copied all the files to CDs using CD writer. Last, I reinstalled Windows XP and the other softwares. The next day I was unable to restore my backup files (3.03GB). StorageSync “Reports Menu” displays the performed backup data, date, time, size, etc. However, the StorageSync “Restore Menu” does not list the backup or an option to restore the files. Also, my backup CDs did not show any files written to disk. All the files which had been written to CDs were previously visually checked and all files displayed. Now, I am wondering if I need to use a “UDF” (Universal Disk Format) to display and open the files. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
