I have a Pentium 100 computer consisting of the following:
CYRRIX 586 100 MHz processor on a BIOSTAR MB-8433UUD-A Ver:2 Motherboard using AWARD bios 03/06/96-UMC-881E\886B-2A4X5B08C-00 and the onboard IDE controller.
I currently have a 500Mb driveand am trying too upgrade to a 1624Mb drive
The Bios will autodetect the drive as having the correct number of cylinders, heads and sectors and state the correct size. Both FDISK and Partition Magic 5.0 will only recognise the drive as having 504Mb, The drive has 3148 cylinders but partition magic only sees 1031 cylinders thus not seeing the remaining 1Gb if drive space
If anybody out there has any suggestions please Mail them
Thanks
