We have 6 reported users who are having problems with their Header/Footer toolbar (from the View menu in Word 97). Each option under “Insert Auto Text” appears twice. One of the two when clicked will work corrrectly. The second option displays a series of empty squares.
I reinstalled Word on one user and after rebooting, the toolbar was normal – but not for long, the toolbar reverted to the same double listings. Same thing on a second PC (reinstalled Word and double entries still appear).
Have you come across this before?
