Help
I am currently working in a medical office that has just installed a new server and are using a Netopia Modem R2020. They want to use broadband and were told to hook a router to the Netopia and they would be fine. Well, still no internet connection and I can’t seem to get much help. Here are some facts:
Netopia Modem R2020 – has and 8 port hub
DI-604 Router
OS Windows 2000
Current Settings:
IP Address – 172.20.1.102
Subnet mask – 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 172.20.1.30
3 computers
1 server
1 impact printer
1 laserjet
I can’t get the computers to see the router…the Netopia sees the router. The router has a default address and I have brain lock. Would appreciate any ideas on how it can be rectified.I would appreciate any help here.
