I have been working on an access database which is set up as a check sheet for staff to give their working availability. Once the “yes/no” has been checked i am looking to create a search of an EXCEL spreadsheet where I have set up the staff rota. I want the search to come back with details of vacant shifts on the EXCEL (shift rota) and the name to be added automatically with a click of a command button. I am knew to access and thought i had done alright getting this far but now i am stumped….. Basically i want to fill vacant shifts with as few clicks of the mouse if this is possible????? any help or advice is appreciated.
