Hey i think i did a stupid thing today and need some major help. Firt off i’m running windows 2000 pro at home and here’s my problem…well let expalin what i did so that u can help me out. I right clicked on “my computer” then “properties” and wentto “network identification” then click on “network ID”. The “network id wizard” poped up
then i clicked on “this computer is for home use….”and proceeded to the next step and i clicked on “windows always assumes the following user has logged on to this computer” and i entered the following user name: administrator and the password and confirmed it. I got a prompt that said the changes will go in effect after reboot so i rebooted the machine. Now here’s the problem, when the machine rebooted i got a messege on the log in screen saying “The system could not log u on. make sure your user name and domain is correct…..” And no matter what i typed it would not log me in. The password i set doesn’t work and nothing is working. please help
i think i’m permanetly locked out of my computer…
