Local police department has a message switch to communicate with a mobile network. Original server an NT 4.0 SP3 machine had two ip address on one NIC card. 10.1.1.25 and 192.168.241.82 This setup worked fine until the vendors came in and while updating the softwae blew up the system. After reloading they could not get this to work. Address translation had to be set up on the cisco 2500 router to communicate with the mobile network (198.228.31.X). Its working now but can anyone give me an idea of what they messed up.
