hello... my computer shuts down automaticly for no reason. I have just had my computer rebuilt and it still shuts down.. its windows xp.. please help!

You need to talk to the people who rebuilt your computer, they should have tested it.

Did you get it rebuilt because of the same reason or was there something else the computer did before it went to be rebuilt?

Have you reinstalled the XP after rebuild?
If not, probably is a hardware conflict with some of your old driver installed before rebuilding.

put the xp cd rom into the drive......

and boot from cd.When the blue screen gives you options,select setup windows.Aceept the liscense agreement and then press r.Follow the instructions and then when the computer reboots , ignore the boot from cd.Follow the instructions all the way and this should restore the installation
