Help Diagnosing/Fixing Sound Problem

I am running Windows NT 4.0 Workstation With Service Pack 6a installed. As the computers around me are either the same, or NT Server, I am forced to run my Video Games, And MP3 Music, on a system that wasn’t designed with either in mind. Now, every so often (i have the games, and Mp3’s running fine) the sound cuts off. (i.e in the middle of a game, or a song, for no apparrent reason) I then have to reboot, and sometimes that doesn’t even get the sound back. Expirienceing this problem with Crystal Ware Windows Audio Drivers Release 4.05.2600 — Can Anyone help?
