A few days ago something happened to my laptop. what happened was that when i signed onto my user [or whatever user i want to on my laptop] I just get a pink background and then it comes up that it cant open up like normal and asks me if i want help on the internet so i do that! the problem is that they dont know if my vista is legal or if its illegal [its legal, it was on the laptop when i bought it last august] and to validate that its legal i have to go to the start menu and do some stuff, the problem is i dont have any start menu. i dont have a background [except for the pink one] or anything so i cant really use anything! i use the internet like normal but it signs out of my account every now and then. i cant use any other programs than Safari because i dont have a start menu or anything to fix the problem! anyone know what i can do?
