Help I need to change a drive letter

hello,
I need help changing a system drive letter from f: to c:
I no that disk management will not do this. but is there a utility that can do this for me?

you need to change the drive(f) to the primary drive connected to the primary controller. this is done by changing the cable that it is connected to.
Just swap the current c: drive with the drive you want to be the new c: drive.
This new drive hasto have a boot sector(system files) with the operating system or be prepared to install a os after it is formated.

I had this problem before and I had to reinstall Windows XP from scratch to fix it.

However, there is MS KB 223188 that shows how to change System/Boot drive letter.
It is for Windows 2000 but it is worth trying it on Windows XP.
Make sure you back up all your data before you do it.
