By Brad Morton ·
I have a Cisnet comp. w/2.66g Intel P4 505 processor.Have win XP Home 5.1.2600 sp2 build 2600 installed. Upon opening a web page (Keygen.com),immediately a virus took hold of my comp. I have Norton antivirus 2005 and it went right past it. Was using IEexplorer version 6.0.2900.2180,build 62900.2180 at the time. tried to go to Symantec.com for Norton repair.Upon trying to use their repair tools available on their sight, I received an error message telling me that I needed a version of IE newer than version 5.0. I have the most updated version of IE

I visited Keygen.com after reading your thread, I typed in the address bar keygen.com and was directed to www.keygen.com I am using IE7 beta 2 as far a s I know this is the latest version of IE available. No virus attempted to attach itself to my PC. I am running that latest Norton Antivirus definitions and I am also totally patched up. I recommend you start your computer in safe mode then run your anti virus scanner in safe-mode as well as spyware and adware scanner. You could download the fix on an other mission and apply the fix to your machine. An other thing to do would be too uninstall IE, then download the latest version from M$ with firefox.
