Help me

each and every time when i start windows xp it shows there is an error in temp2.exe.and the system automatically shuts down.I had formatted the entire system but the same trouble persists.what should i do now.any one from this forum help me.

It?s a virus!!! It?s not enough to format your drive. You must delete your partitions and recreate before installing Windows. Information about temp2.exe virus you can find on this web page: http://www.auditmypc.com/process/temp2.asp

Deleting the Partitions quite often isn't enough

You need to wipe the drive with a utility that writes zero's to every sector of the drive so that it to all intents & purposes looks like a new drive and none of the previous infections can creep back into the system.

There are many Wiping Utilities available some from the HDD Makers and others from other sources I find that Boot & Nuke works fairly well since IBM has sold off their HDD Devision where they had Wipe & Zap available for download which is no longer available. But Boot & Nuke is available for download free here
