Okay, I had a laptop it is no more. I am trying to recover the files on the hard drive but I am having trouble finding out how to do it. I am trying to push the files onto a desktop that has a Sata hard drive.
Problems:
-Don’t know how
-Different operating systems(Vista on new pc xp on old HD)
-Both the new and old harddrives are SATA
-I just need to pull off 3 files word documents
