I have ME and XP on the same machine and ME shows the partitiions different than XP. Now I can only boot into ME. I also have 2000 Pro installed. I get a hal.dll missing file on XP and cannot get into it. What I did was I already had ME, Pro, and XP installed and then I installed XP again on a partition that was between the Pro and 1st XP that I installed. Now ME has the drives different than the new XP. I can now get into the new XP and ME that is it. What can I do?? I thought using the recovery console and repairing the MBR. I am afraid that when I do, I will not be able to get into anything. What do I do? I will be forever grateful to anyone that can answer this. I am a college student and I am stilling learning all this. I keep crashing Pro for no reason. I will not use it for a couple days and then when I do, it will not boot. I thought about copying everything over to a new HD and then repairing the MBR in case I loose everything. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
