A friend had given me a computer running Windows XP Professional. Unfortunately, it had no rescue disks with it.
Here’s my problem. The computer on boot up is giving me nothing but the dreaded blue screen. I am finally able to get into choices via the F8 key, but when I try safemode, or any of the other choices there, I continue to get the blue screen.
Is there a way I can access DOS in order to reformat the computer. Aparently that’s my only choice left as I can get into the system no other way.
Any ideas are appreciated.
