HELP! I think my computer (WinXP)has a virus. I keep getting annoying (aren’t they all) pop ups in IE (v7), and McAfee keeps warming with removal messages they keep coming back. Unable to remove with McAfee, Spybot, Ada-aware and hijackthis. Probably need to go into Windows registery to get rid of it. Don’t want to delete wrong dll files….how do I do this…please!
Here are some of the messages McAfee says it has removed:
1) Documents and Settings\\s\local settings\temp\worooyf.exe
2)JaunSearch
3) DownloaderBEA
4)others are in IE5 temp files (BWRKDIEN)
5) VUNDO (trojan) in WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\QOMJIIH.DLL
and
6)c:\docs and settings\s\local settings\Temp\hqivfrqb.dll
There’s other ones but I suppose they are all from the same downloaded source. Hope I can remove them without reformatting my PC.PLEASE HELP
