HELP Removing SQL 6.5 Utility from NT Wo

by teinfo In reply to HELP Removing SQL 6.5 Uti ...

I tried many time. It did not work because the workstation only install utilities, not
a full SQL server installed. I logged on as Administrator and re-setup from CD. The option"remove SQL server" was grey out. I could not select Remove SQL server".

Do I have to reinstall full SQL server onto workstaiton and then re-run setup from CD again to remove it.

or anyone has other good ideas?

Thanks

To what "utilities" are you referring? You should be able to install SQL 7 over them, but if you need to uninstall SQL 6.5 components, you may want to try "Add/Remove Programs" from within Control Panel.

Hope that helps.
