Help- switch starup options after hard power shutdown

By Beacivil1 ·
I have a Vista Basic computer at my office and every time the power goes out in a storm, when you start up computer, you get the "windows was unexspectedly shut down..." and two options- one, to start into restore mode (or something like that), or two, start windows normally.

The start windows normally is second and I want to move it to the top so that when the timer counts down, this is what it choses. Anyone know how to switch these?

if this happens allot buy a UPS and potentially save you PC getting fried.

Solves you issue and adds protection to boot!

When I hear somebody say 'small business PC'

my first questions are:

Do you have a good UPS?

What is your backup strategy, and have you tested it?

I just started at this company, so I'll tell you what I know.

No UPS (and no money to buy one right now). No system restore disk created. System used once a week for accounting purposes (quickbooks).

Can you switch the optins or not?
