I have a Win2K notebook user who has a need to log in to three separate networks at three different sites.
Problem: Two of the sites use DHCP. My site uses static IP numbers. He wants me to set up one of our servers to handle DHCP, but my manager is against that idea.
What’s the best solution for this. I’ve thought about a separate hardware profile for when he’s on my network, but I’m not sure if this will allow different IP settings. Maybe a batch file he can run from the desktop? Something that sets a static ip number and another one to enable dhcp?
Thanks in advance.
