I just created an Access Database – my first one ever! It has four linked tables and I created a number of forms to make it easy for other staff to enter data correctly. Numerous macros and a number of queries to get it the forms to work.
My problem is – The system works fine when 1 person uses it. As soon as there is more than 1 user, where the macor is supposed to save data in a form it gives an error message saying you don’t have exclusive access and can’t save at this time.
I thought that each time a form was opened it was supposed to create a new record.
Can anyone offer simple suggestions – apart from doing this database I have no training. I am willing to pass the template on for anyone to review.
