Help with ACTIVEX

By fbarr_taz ·
My field is database development and VB programming but I have been asked to create an ASP application.
Since our firm still uses VB6.0 is there any tutorials or articles available that can help me use vb6.0 activex controls in an ASP page for data entry and display. Eg. combobox, listbox, datagrid.
There seems to be a lot of ASP.NET references but we have not gone there.
Appreciate someone pointing me toward a reference source.
Thanks

ASP.net has a lot of controls that are very useful with a lot of power such as the data grid. But ASP 3.0 doesn?t have that type of functionality since its using a script language. you can use a 3rd party tool that you can use in your asp one I?ve used in the past is http://www.jpowered.com to use these controls or any other venders controls you need to read the development docs that are on there site since implementing there control is up to the vender but I?ve found that they are more then willing to help out via email any questions you might have programming with there controls.
For comboboxes listboxes you can use DHTML or HTML and populate them using your SQL and fire off client side events using JavaScript or VB script
