Help with external ISA 04 authentication

By srosensweig ·
I'm in the process of setting up ISA 2004 as an external firewall for a domain.
Essentially, the ISA Server will NOT be a domain member, and all clients on the domain will route their web access requests through a domain controller, which will route to the ISA located in the DMZ, and then to an upstream ISA functioning as a proxy. We want web access restricted based on AD groups that each user will belong to. Since the ISA is not a domain member, there's no way to authenticate through AD. I've explored setting up the ISA for RADIUS authentication but most of the material I've found relates to VPN access from external sources. The main issue I'm running into is avoiding entering all user accounts into ISA as user sets that will mirror the AD groups. With 400+ users located in 3-4 groups, this can be tedious work entering each individually. Any suggestions would be extremely welcome.
