Hey everyone! Great site. I have this query which I just hope to get an answer to. My mom has this good internet connection compared to mine, and we both have the same ISP. So I recently changed her cable modem with mine and I had her fast connection. I did this like at 4 in the morning, so that same day, at noon, the internet connection was not responding as fast as it was. I was thinking that maybe the ISP found out about the trade I did and they gave me my same connection back again, although I seriously doubt it because when I’m downloading things my download rate is just like it was before (7 kb/s) but my upload goes up to 30kb/s. Can they control my download and upload separately or are they both controlled at the same time? I know for a fact that they frequently have problems providing the service so I guess that might be the problem for now. Please help.
