help with sansui hdlcdvd265 lcd tv

hi i got a sansui hdlcdvd265 lcd tv at an auction and they said it dodn’t turn on. all it does is turn on the backlight and show the startup screen then it turns off. i looked at the power supply, but there were no bad capacitors that i could see.. one compnent got kind of warmer than all the others, on it it said ROYAL702P 5W 150ohm J. i think its a resistor. can anyone help me figure out what is wrong? also, there are a lot of areas where components were never installed on the board. can someone please help me figure out what is wrong and how to fix it?
