3 computers on our network keep coming up with a blue screen of death of the following error: Fatal Exception OE has occurred at 0028:C0082658 in VXD VREDIR 01)+ 00006A57. This was called rom 0028:C14B130A in VXD VSERVER(01)+ 000E7BA.
The VSERVER part sometimes is replaced by IFSMGR or NDIS. The numbers also change according to the VXD its called from.
I have tried to update the Drivers of the NIC, i have replaced the whole NIC with a new one without success. I even went as far as formatting the whole computer and re-installing W98 from scratch.
The operator of the computers are not doing anything in particular, sometimes the machine can no be in use and the error will occur.
The Blue Screen happen quite regularly throughoutthe day.
All machines are W98 second edition and are on a Windows 2000 server.
We do not use any kind of remote dialling, this function is not available or installed on any of the client machines.
Please help this has been an ongoing problem over the past few months!
