help wtih command prompt

By seanmreilly ·
I keep getting this when I try to use command prompt through the run thing under star menu and typing command but when it comes up I get this

C:\windows\system32\command.com
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.NT. The System file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and MS-Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application

You should use cmd instead of command when using WinNT, Win2000 or XP.

You want to use cmd instead of Command as was suggested. Usually there is a shortcut to the command line in the programs/All programs/Accessories drop down off of the start menu. At least there is on my 2000 and my XP system.

Yep, I agree with Faradhi, that microsoft KB article should fix your problem.
