    Helpdesk Problems vs requests for services

    Currently our Helpdesk receives emailed problems and also requests for new services (software install, new account creation etc..) What are other IT Departments doing? Does your IT Dept. function the same way ? Or do you have a seperate group or smaller dept with IT that handles new accounts or software installs etc..
