Here is one that will get every one talking

In a news story from the AP a school in WYOMING, Mich. They had a school safety drill with police in full garb and guns but marked with tape to show that they were not using live rounds.

I thought this was way over the top for the police and the school but then thought about the last few years and all shootings and the kids cought befor they had a chance to do it.
So is this over the top or some thing that needs to happen to warn people that we are ready for some thing like this?
