    HIDDEN FILES

    by majm ·

I have just reimaged my drive.

I cannot view any Hidden Files at all.

I have tried the usual fixes identified including using File Explorer and CMD as well as regedit where my input is not accepted.

    Ideas?

    TIA

    Mitch

For me I can see files with the old DIR /A command.

For WFE, I have to google how to change depending on which version of Windows.

What exactly do you mean with “reimage”?

What happens if in Command Prompt you give this command:
      dir c:\ /a:H
With me, it shows 5 hidden directories, 1 hidden junction and 5 hidden files?

I’ve never needed regedit to show hidden files. Can you explain what “usual fix” you tried in regedit and where you found it?

In fact, I’ve never needed to fix this. What are the usual fixes you tried and where did you find them?
