I am using a Windows XP SP2 machine and cannot view hidden files and folders, even when i select a “Show hidden files and folders” radio, and apply the changes, once i close the folder options dialog it and activate the Folder Options, the activated radio will be “Do not show hidden files and folders”. Tried to change the value in the registry to 1, in the following location “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced” on hidden. The value was 2 on hidden initially. If set to 1, it then changed to 0.
Please help if there is someone who knows the solution. So far there are two machines affected by that virus, and i think it might spreading and affecting other machines through the network.
