Hidden Files in W2K

By Cmurphy-MCSE ·
I have a user running windows 2000. He noticed in his my documents folder that all of his files have hidden attributes. when you go to try and change the attributes the hidden checkbox is greyed out so you can't change it. I gave him administrative rights and still that didn't change anything. Please help me out with this problem.
Thank you in advance!

I would check the permissions on the My Document folder. I bet your user changed them trying to make the folder "hidden"

Even as an Administrator you do not have full control. I agree that you should check the permissions as he may only have certain rights to the documents.
