Let say I create a folder called "Data" and share the file with the $ at the end to hide the share from the rest of the users "Data$". I then remove the everyone group and add a group I wish to have access to the dir. I would like the users to be able to output some basic computer information to this hidden shared dir, But I keep getting permission denied. If I removed the "$" from the end of the shared folder there are no problems. My group has admin permissions.
Any Ideas?
