All fields are required. Username must be unique. Password must be a minimum of 6 characters and have any 3 of the 4 items: a number (0 through 9), a special character (such as !, $, #, %), an uppercase character (A through Z) or a lowercase (a through z) character (no spaces).
You have to do this in the AD Users and Computers console, and you have to be running the console on a machine that has the Exchange Manager installed (i.e., your Exchange Server itself or another server or workstation on which you have installed both the AD Users and Computers console and the Exchange Manager). From the AD Users and Computers console, go to the Users container and open the properties of the user you want to hide. I believe the check box is on the Exchange Advanced tab to hide the mailbox from the address book. Hope this helps!
