Hide Excel Formulas

by sakil . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

I have a spreadsheet that there is a date field to be entered. Another field automatically estimates the due date created by a formula.

This spreadsheet is for very novice users in my organization.

I used the fill handle to copy the formula down the same column of the entire spreadsheet.

How do I hide the formula’s automatic answer? The date field is empty, the formula is =sum(a1+14), “due date” is 14 days from the date entered.

When I drag on the fill handle to copy it shows 1/14/00 in every cell because it is calculating the blank date field.

This 1/14/00 entry is confusing my users. How can I hide this answer to the formula until the date is entered into the date field.

Thank you!
