Hiding a workbook for multiple forms

by kenneth.johnson9 . Updated 19 years ago

I have written a pretty large application in Excel using multiple forms and little use of the spreadsheet other than variable storage. I need to hide the workbook so I use “hide”. The issue is that when I exit out of the form(s), I have to unhide the worksheet and that fires off the first form again. This is because I use the “on initialization” event to fire off the first form.

This causes the first form to pop up again when you have requested close. If I issue the “exit” command with the application hidden, then it is NOT visible but is still running. Also Excel never shows up on the application bar (windows) while the worksheet is running.

Any ideas on how to NOT make the application start the second time. I am sure that I am missing something quite simple.
