hiding c drive

i am tring to network my school and i would like to hide all of the c: drive so they cant screw it up......again. so if u can please give me a link to a program to hid that i have one called folder lock or folder locker but i can't use that cause itwould mean i would have to bring the whole thing over to the file but it wouldn't work cause well u know why thank u for ur time.

You can try a utility called "Poledit". That should allow you to change a lot of administrative settings in any version of windows.

If you are on Windows machines, then try this Registry hack:

I supported a school district with about 400 networked computers for five years. I would not have lived through the experience if the district had not agreed with my recommendation to license a program called "Fortres101" for the five buildings. Call Fortres Grand Corporation at 800-331-0372 or look for them on the internet. There are some other similar options available now as well, I have been told. But thanks to all gods that I am out of that environment now. Good luck and long life.

I think Tweak UI also allows for you to hide any drive letter as well. Not sure if it hides it from Windows Explorer as well, though. It's free and cool and worth a shot.
