      Hi,

The easiest way I know is to edit the Group Policies in Windows 2000 Active Directory Users and Computers. There is a setting called “Remove My Network Places icon from the start menu”

Just right-click the domain name or the OU that you want to edit and click properties. Click on the Group Policy tab, select you policy object, then click Edit.

Finally, find User Configuration – Administrative Templates – Start Menu and Taskbar. Change the State to enable on Remove My Network Placesicon from the Start Menu.

      Hope this helps,
