High demand IT skill

Hi,

I am a CPA (Accountant) and working in a government department. I have free time in the evenings and on the weekends. I though to learn some IT skill and offer my services remotely which will earn me some extra money.

I am an expert user of computers but not a professional. What skill would you advice me to learn which is in high demand these days using which I could offer my services remotely?

Security is and always will be a highly coveted skill with regard to IT skills. The attack methods are constantly changing, and technology changes weekly, so perhaps you could focus on the areas needing to be covered.

Focus on web traffic, and read up on various methods used against companies that admit to being hacked. Also there are books.

There are billions of internet users, so should focus on the areas needing to be covered. Find a good niche and start blogging.

You can also start affiliate marketing/blogging.

Now a days, It is very important to have a skill in IT or any other field. After the COVID-19 Pandemic, many people lost their job, After that most of the people have move towards the freelancing.

I am one of them actually, I’ve learn SEO skill and now gaining experience in SEO, I would recommend you to check out multiple blogs and clear your concepts regarding you selected field, mentioning the domain from where I learned a lot about SEO, they have multiple blogs related to tech and IT.
